I Wish

I can check my blood sugar anytime I want, but many times I want to check my O2 level. I feel funny and light headed and I'm pretty sure my pulse ox is low, but I have no way of knowing for sure.

so get a pulse ox. Medicaid should pay for it if you dr gives you a rx.

You can buy a pulse ox monitor! A lot of home health companies also rent them, but it's really cheaper to buy one. Before my transplant, my Dad bought one because I needed to be checking it daily! Good luck!

When I started using O2 at night and with exercise, the company that provides my O2 gave me a free pulse ox. It's great. Usually I'm within about a point or two of knowing what my #'s are going to be based on how I'm breathing and what I'm doing.
