Pretty Things

I finally uploaded photos from Monday. The things Sarah and Eric brought me. Gimme a break; I had lots of Grey's to watch. And they keep me busy with those silly treatment things.

Here are the COLORING BOOKS!!! Here is my favorite, just because the title is awesome and very me:

I have yet to color in that one. I have colored a pink My Little Pony and a couple pages from the Sesame Street book b/c I LOVE Sesame Street and normally spend most my hospital time watching YouTube clips of Sesame Street.

I will take photos of those pages I've colored and post them eventually, maybe.

And here is the gorgeous (fake) plant they brought me. Everyone who comes into my room comments on this thing and thinks it is real. It's that pretty. :-)
Tomorrow: Maybe I'll post those photos I took of the BEST care package ever ;-)

Hooray for coloring books! I sometimes take those to the hospital with me too.

I hope you're out of there soon and can enjoy other things.

There is nothing better than coloring! It's relaxing and great to do when you just need to be busy. Those are some fun ones, too. Have you tried Crayola's coloring book crayons...they twist up inside a plactic casing and stay pretty sharp so you can get in the tiny little areas. We (heart) those!

Me and Trinity: What a cutie! Chest PT on a baby: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation discourages any contact among CF patients. Personally, I think this is overreacting at its best. Yes, some precautions need to be taken, but it has been blown totally out of proportion. I am writing this because the other night at Concert on the Square I held Trinity. Her mom handed her over to me, and we were talking and then she told me that Trinity has CF. I asked if I should take precautions and her mom said that it was okay for me to interact with her - and I feel that as long as the parent says it's okay, it's okay with me. A word about my sinuses

Ow. (Note, this is not a complaint. I am simply stating that I am currently in a state of pain.) WARNING: EXTREME AMOUNTS OF SARCASM AHEAD. Even though the pain is so bad I can barely stay awake, I am still able to run and jump and sing and dance (because, DUH I'm addicted to running and can't stop... I LOVE my lungs and all they do for me!) and I will be doing a marathon soon, so watch for that. I will be DANCING the marathon, and singing the whole way. What do you think, should I sing Hannah Montana??? And High School Musical??? Whadda ya think??? Dating, Dancing, and Depression

Let's talk about these things in reverse order. I realized I was still depressed. I'm not the type of person who cries very often. I know that I'm having problems when I cry for stupid reasons. We upped my dose of my depression med, and I'm doing much better - so far. I was with my family over the weekend, and that always makes me feel better. We'll have to see how I'm doing by the end of this week to see if the meds are helping. I have only had to take small naps or no naps and I've been able to get a little done today - like the dishes, and unpacking a little. Hopefully I will be able to continue getting a little done every day - and then someday it will all be done. (insert insane laugh here because it will never be all done because I am so good at making a mess). I want to dance.
